From Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind "300" and "Man of Steel," comes "Rebel Moon," a derivative space opera saga that borrows heavily from "Star Wars" and "Dune." While the action sequences are decent, Snyder's plot is unoriginal and lacks depth.

"Rebel Moon" is set on a distant planet that is attacked by an intergalactic tyrant. A group of rebels must band together to fight back against the invaders. The film stars Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, and Ed Skrein.

The action sequences in "Rebel Moon" are well-executed and exciting. However, the plot is weak and uninspired. Snyder relies on familiar tropes and clichés, and the film never manages to find its own identity.

Overall, "Rebel Moon" is a disappointment. It has some decent action sequences, but the plot is weak and unoriginal. If you're looking for a space opera, you're better off watching "Star Wars" or "Dune."
