Craig Berube Resigns as St. Louis Blues Head Coach

Former NHL Player and Coach Steps Down

Breaking News: Craig Berube has resigned from his position as head coach of the St. Louis Blues.

Craig Berube, the former NHL player and head coach of the St. Louis Blues, has resigned from his position following the team's 6-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. The Blues are currently in last place in the Central Division with a record of 18-29-3.

Berube, 57, was hired as the Blues' head coach in 2018 and led the team to a Stanley Cup victory in 2019. However, the Blues have struggled in recent seasons, and Berube's resignation comes after a disappointing start to the 2023-24 season.

Assistant coach Craig MacTavish will take over as interim head coach for the Blues. The team's next game is scheduled for Tuesday night at home against the Minnesota Wild.
