Hamilton Finishes Behind Sainz in Fourth

The 2024 Formula One (F1) driver standings have been released, with Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing emerging as the champion. The Dutch driver claimed 343 points throughout the season, securing his second consecutive title.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished the season as runner-up with 297 points. The Monegasque driver had a strong start to the season but was unable to match Verstappen's consistency. Carlos Sainz Jr., also of Ferrari, placed third with 258 points, ahead of Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, who finished with 255 points.

The standings reflect a dominant season for Red Bull Racing, which claimed both the drivers' and constructors' championships. Mercedes finished as runner-up in the constructors' standings, followed by Ferrari.
